Our Trip To Rose Valley (By Kaya)

Hello! I'm Kaya Sapher. As Jenny told you, we left to go to Rose Valley yesterday morning. I'll tell you what happened. The morning started off good. I was dreaming about India, where I'm from, when all of a sudden I was awakened by Jenny, the early riser in the family. "Wake up, Kaya! It's time to go!" she said, excitedly. Because I did not want to miss our plane, I got up immediately. I could here Sofia doing the same. Soon, everybody was up and dressed, and we went downstairs to eat breakfast. Hannah and Gabby were already up. Hannah had made us chocolate chip pancakes, and we ate them quickly. Then, we went upstairs, grabbed our bags, got our pets, who were coming with us, and got in the car. Hannah drove us to the airport and when we got there, we hugged her and Gabby good bye. "Now, we must get our tickets." said Jani. We went and got our tickets, put our pets in the area where the pets go, went through security, and went and sat down in the waiting area for our plane. Soon, our plane was called, and everyone got to their feet. We went down the hallway, showed the lady our tickets, and stepped on the plane. The ride was uneventful, the view was magnificent, and they served great food. Soon, the pilot said "We are preparing for landing. Everyone, please have your seatbelts on." We soon landed at The Rose Valley Airport. After we left the plane, we went and got our pets and our baggage. Raven looked a little nervous, so kind Elizabeth took her under her wing.(Not literally :) We went out of the airport, and got a taxi. We all crowded into one, because we wanted to save our money. We all chated excitedly about seeing Rose Valley again. By the time we got there, it was dark outside. Snow was also falling as we got out of the taxi, grabbed our bags, and paid the driver. Since the Rose Valley School building was inclosed by a pretty white picket fence, the pets could run without a leash inside. They all did just that. Raven's pet, Praline, took in all the new surroundings, and seemed to like it right away. So did Raven. She kept looking at it and finally asked "This is it? This beautiful place?" We all smiled and nodded. Because it was so cold, we hurried inside, followed by our pets. When we stepped inside, we were greeted by a delicious smell. Other students rushed to us and said hello to us. We all tried to answer their many questions as we hurried to our rooms. Jani and I went into our room, and set our bags down on the ground. We ran to our warm beds. "It's good to be back!" said Jani. "That's for sure!" I said. After we unpacked, we joined our sisters and the other students on our way to the big, warm kitchen. All us sisters sat down at a table, and soon the cook brought us steaming bowls of delicious chili. We put fritos and cheese on top, and enjoyed the food. For dessert, we had warm chocolate chip cookies, and hot chocolate. Then, we all went and got in our beds. My cat, Pearl, curled up at my feet. Tomorrow, I couldn't wait to see my horse, Steps High, at the stables! Good day, Kaya
